Yesterday I found myself aimlessly walking around the mall looking for things to waste my money on like I typically do on Monday evenings. As there was nothing that I could find to purchase I went into See's candy for a free sample of chocolate...which is were I then found the Kid on a leash. The kid didn't seem misbehaved or loud like most kids usually do to me. He was really very quiet and tame. The leash was like the one in the picture, but was decorated with sparkles (totally unnecessary). I think the sparkles made the mom feel better about putting her kid on a leash in the first place, but who am I to judge. Anyways, I found myself innocently following the kid and his mother for about 5 minutes since I have always been very confused by this. When the kid went to far, she yanked him back. Just like I do to my dogs when they are on a leash. This may seem like a pointless post, but I'm truly confused by this.
Is this really necessary??
I thought I would post my first comment on this entry because this is hilarious!!! I have seen kids on leashes but they're usually like 1 or 2. The funniest thing was what you said about the sparkles on the leash!! Haha seems to me this woman had serious issues. I mean sparkles on a leash for a boy, I'm thinking he may turn out like Kurt Hummel from Glee!

ReplyDeletethe only time that i have ever seen a kids leash that made sense was when i was snowboarding. kids under 6 learning how to ski need to be on leashes. other than that people needs to learn that kid leashes dont equal parenting.
